What is E-Power ?
E-Power is a programme currently being delivered by Tech Lancaster to help improve access to careers and roles in Electech and Power Electronics, Machines and Drives. This is part of a UK Government (InnovateUK) strategy to further strengthen the UK’s capabilities in Electech and PEMD to scale up innovation, design and manufacture of these technologies within the UK to enable it to help smooth the electrification and transition of transport and industry from carbon emitting technologies (such as vehicles with internal combustion engines) to zero emissions technologies. This will help the UK meet and exceed its commitments on Net Zero faster.
What is Driving the Electric Revolution ?
The ISCF Driving the Electric Revolution challenge is part of a £4.5M programme of investment in skills and building talent for the future by InnovateUK, the UK Governments Innovation Agency. The programme aims to support skills development, attract talent and deliver training across the UK to support a step change in our industrial capability surrounding PEMD development and manufacture, including via the UK’s network of DER Industrialisation Centers.
